Brion Roberto : Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Roberto has established himself as a thought leader, leading marketer, and new product development expert in the technology and interactive space over the last twelve years. In diverse businesses, from start-ups to Fortune 500s, financial services to entertainment, his role as a senior manager has been exemplified in leading successful strategic growth initiatives. A lifetime supporter of non-profits, Mr. Roberto also currently serves as Program Officer for advanced Web site projects with the Taproot Foundation.

Prior to Sage Impact, Mr. Roberto was a Senior Director in Global Product Management at Gartner, where he managed the company's largest product ($300MM), launched the fastest growing product in their history, and led product development for the Asia Pacific region. Previously, he was employed at media organizations including Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, in senior marketing and product management roles within the Internet and interactive space. Mr. Roberto began his career at Bertlesmann (RCA and Arista records), honing his creativity working with developing artists such as the Dave Matthews Band.

In addition, Mr. Roberto has extensive technical expertise, including Microsoft Access/SQL certification, and attended George Washington University.

Jitin Agarwal : Technology and Product Management Officer

Mr. Agarwal is a recognizable business leader in the software and online development industries, having led key projects for the world's most important companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Product Development for Gartner where he launched 12 new products that resulted in more than $10MM in revenue. In his tenure at Gartner, Mr. Agarwal was promoted several times and received recognition for his success from the Board of Directors.

Previously at TechRepublic, Mr. Agarwal was the Vice President of Product Development in charge of developing their Web site, marketing, and business development. He was directly involved in securing 3 rounds of financing for a total of $13.5MM. TechRepublic was subsequently sold for $80 million. Prior to working at TechRepublic, Mr. Agarwal worked for over 5 years at the Microsoft Corporation as a Web Group Manager and Product Manager, working on the development of Microsoft Office and Sidewalk.com. Beyond his vast technology experience, he was also a financial analyst for General Electric in the Lighting and Capital divisions.

Mr. Agarwal received a B.A. in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan.

Peter Howley : Strategy and Measurement Officer

With a decade of consulting and management experience, Peter Howley has delivered insights and results to business and consumer marketers, including media, consumer electronics, and CPG companies. A specialist in applying empirical evidence to answer questions about strategy and channels, he has extensive capabilities in measurement, analytics, and business strategy.

Prior to joining Sage Impact, Mr. Howley headed the Branding Solutions business at Adertising.com, the Internet's largest ad network, expanding effectiveness reporting and exceeding profit goals by 42%. Previously, he was the CEO of an event marketing start-up, where he negotiated and measured direct mail and email marketing campaigns. Mr. Howley's career has also included serving as Vice President at Noral Group International, where he built prospect scoring methodologies and measured marketing effectiveness for clients such as Discovery Channel and Fox Networks. At Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, he headed the research department and pioneered measurement of navigation ease with panels, surveys, and site analytics software.

Mr. Howley started his career at Bain & Company, where he developed a new Frito-Lay product and market test for the convenience store channel. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and BA in Economics from Rice University.

Leah Messina : Organic Marketing and PR Officer

Ms. Messina brings a wealth of organic marketing and public relations expertise to the Sage Impact team. She has extensive experience in the intersection of technology and marketing and is an expert in online, grassroots, and viral marketing strategy. Ms. Messina regularly consults and manages campaigns for established and growing global brands worldwide across a number of industries, including publishing, radio, music, finance, technology and food and beverages. Recent clients have included Virgin Mobile, Twix®, and DeWalt.

Previously, she was Account Executive at Electric Artists, overseeing campaigns for a range of clients including American Express, A&E Television Network, Sony Music, The History Channel, and Random House. A marketing leader and champion of leading edge interactive technologies, she consulted clients on the use of blogs, podcasts, and RSS technology. Prior to Electric Artists, for four years Ms. Messina worked for one of the first Internet teen communities, Kiwibox.com, joining the company in 1999 at its launch and helping it to grow to a community of over 1.5 million members by 2003. At Kiwibox, Ms. Messina was responsible for integrated promotions and online content production as the Senior Music Editor.

Ms. Messina holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University in Professional Writing and Communication Design and is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Marketing degree from Johns Hopkins.
